Prawns (Shrimp) Pickle
Prawns pickle will certainly awaken your sleeping/drowsy taste buds. It is so fiery hot! Moreover, unlike the freshly cooked prawns these preserved pickles are tastier & healthier option for sea food adorers.
Fresh small prawns are carefully selected and cleaned, then marinated with salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder. This is perfectly fried and spiced with star anise, cinnamon sticks, poppy seeds, coriander seeds, ginger garlic paste and lemon. Then the mixture is sautéed with curry leaves and hing which adds to the aroma to the pickle which remains fresh until you use the last piece if stored in an air tight container. You would like to eat a spicy condiment as our side dish during rainy seasons.

Pickled chicken is more popular as a side dish by itself or even tossed with pasta or noodles to prepare an instant snack when you are damn tired and have no energy to cook a full-fledged meal. It is also used as a side dish for rotis, phulkas and chapathis.
Don’t use wet spoon for serving the pickle as it might reduce the shelf life of pickle.
Store the pickle in refrigerator for longer shelf life.
