Consuming milk with higher protein content increases your feelings of fullness. This may help reduce food intake throughout the day, thus helping you lose weight and body fat. Buffalo milk offers many health benefits like the ability to build strong bones, protect the heart, promote growth, stimulate circulation & lower blood pressure.

Do’s

It has to be lukewarm during the time of consumption.

It can be mixed with honey and taken if you want to gain weight and to overcome weakness as per Ayurveda.

If you mix some organic turmeric also into your milk, it can amp up the power of the drink due to the anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and healing powers of the spice.

Milk can be taken at any time as long as the person can able to digest it.

The best time is to take during morning and night about half an hour after the food. If taken with dry fruits it increases the stamina of the person.

Don’ts

Consuming milk early in the morning with empty stomach may cause some digestive problems to those who are lactose intolerance i.e, the person small intestine doesn’t produce lactase enzyme to digest the lactose present in the milk. Moreover the stomach is empty and when milk is consumed it becomes little heavy for the digestive system.

Milk should not be mixed with fruits and eaten as it is very heavy in calories and sometimes hard for digestion.
